This recent outbreak has brought forward new challenges that very few of us has ever faced. Our homes，neighborhoods，campuses have been put under lockdown. Many pleasantries that we have grown accustomed to and took for granted in our usual life became unavailable. So it is normal for some of us to feel overwhelmed by a wide range of emotions that may go from helplessness，desperation，restlessness，paranoia all the way to pure and simple fear for our lives and the lives of those who are dear to us.

In order to put our minds to rest，it might be useful to acknowledge two aspects of our current situation. First of all we have confidence，capabilities and definition to win this virus. Secondly this can be an important experience from which we can learn some valuable lessons that can help us grow stronger as individuals as well as communities.

My suggestion is to use this valuable opportunity to cut out any external distraction and do some introspection. Finding what is really important for your well being can be an excellent way to prioritize effectively for your future after everything will inevitably go back to normal. Specifically，I sincerely hope and would like to help you realize that the pursuit of knowledge is the best way to invest your time and efforts.

We are all in this together and we can do this. We will overcome this tragedy and come out of it stronger than ever before. Come on，Zhengzhou University! Come on，ZZUers!

When I first heard about the Coronavirus I wasn′t taking it too seriously. I thought it would be gone soon. I did not think that so many people would get sick and even die.
